Why Take This Course?

When we think of “learning”, we often think of what we did in school as children. However, a lot of learning takes place in our adult lives, and it looks very different from our school days. Workplace trainings and online courses are most effective when they harness the strengths of adult learners.

This course will introduce you to the unique nature of adult learning and provide practical tips for effectively teaching the adults who will take your eLearning course. We’ll look at some of the science behind adult learning and how that science impacts the eLearning course you are designing. Remember, understanding adult learners is important because we are all adult learners!
